Top industry and academic experts will present each conference theme from two perspectives: professional maintenance practice and maintenance science research. IMEC is structured to encourage dialogue and collaboration between these two communities, enhancing the performance of both.
IMEC is directed to engineers, managers of plant operations and the facility manager or maintenance professional who is responsible for maintaining and managing the physical equipment assets of an organization. All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance from the Centre for Maintenance Optimization & Reliability Engineering (C-MORE) at the University of Toronto.
Created and organized by the University of Toronto's C-MORE, IMEC 2009 is being co-organized with Applied Technology Publications, publisher of Maintenance Technology and Lubrication Management & Technology magazines.
